This edition aims to provide a comprehensive understanding of the perceived sense of well-being and depression and state-trait anxiety among elderly retired persons in family environments and old-age homes across the districts in West Bengal. Furthermore, this edition highlights key points for achieving happy and active aging for the elderly.  Various studies at National and International level have also been incorporated in this version. Despite limitations, this edition provides valuable insights into the well-being, anxiety, depression and happy ageing of the elderly population, highlighting the need for targeted interventions.
